Free, Educational Fun at Fire Station 15
District H's Fire Station 15 is hosting a public safety awareness open house this Saturday where you and your family can tour the station, learn about how to prepare and evacuate during an emergency, watch firefighter demonstrations, take a picture with Sparky the Fire Dog, and enjoy free pizza!

Cigna Sunday Streets September 29th
On Sunday, September 29th, the City will open the space on Washington Avenue between Studemont and Sabine normally reserved for cars and other vehicles to allow cycling, walking, dancing, socializing and provides a family-friendly opportunity to be physically active. Citywide PIP Meeting Next Week
The HPD Truck Enforcement Unit is tasked with inspecting large trucks driving through the city daily. They will be giving the presentation this month at the Citywide Positive Interaction Program meeting in an effort to ensure safety in and around large commercial vehicles driving our roadways.
