Denver Harbor: Reception Honoring Padillas
Council Member Cisneros invites the community to celebrate the installation of a Mini-Mural in Denver Harbor, honoring the contributions of Joe and Theresa Padilla. Harris County Spraying for Mosquitos
The mosquito population spikes August-September, and Harris County Public Health trucks are spraying low-dose pesticides to mitigate the impact. Crews spray once or twice a week in some parts of Midtown, downtown and the Northside. Cigna Sunday Streets September 29th
On Sunday, September 29th, the City will open the space on Washington Avenue between Studemont and Sabine normally reserved for cars and other vehicles to allow cycling, walking, dancing, socializing and provides a family-friendly opportunity to be physically active. Every year, the City of Houston hosts an annual expo allowing 10,000 high school juniors and seniors to discover a wide variety of career opportunities in the public and private sectors. If you or your organization would like to be an exhibitor/sponsor, send an email here.
