Near Northside Housing Recovery Center: Open Now!
Council Member Cisneros encourages Harvey victims to visit the new Avenue Housing Recovery Center on Fulton Street. Funded in part by the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, the goal of the center is to get people back in their homes and to streamline the application process for assistance. The Recovery Center is holistic in approach and can provide valuable case by case assistance for getting victims back in their homes.

Houston vs. Baltimore
Football & Library Fundraiser!
November 27 th , our Houston Texas play the Baltimore Ravens and HPL & HPL Foundation have accepted the opportunity to beat Baltimore at football and fundraising! From 7:30pm (kick-off) on November 27 th until 11:59pm on November 28 th , Houstonians will have the chance to compete dollar for dollar to beat the Baltimore Library. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a new HPL Mobile Express, which will be used to provide ongoing services to communities in Houston whose libraries are closed to due to damage from Hurricane Harvey.

HUE Mural Festival

Bring your family to the FREE HUE Mural Festival, where you can watch artists transform Houston's cityscape from concrete to color. Visitors can enjoy artist vendors, live demos, and tastes of our Houston's finest posted up at the mural locations. For more information, click here .
