Council Member Cisneros to Host TechConnect Fair 7/26
Learn to code or fly a drone, or try out some other interactive tech activities, and enjoy  FREE FAMILY FUN at the final of Council Member Cisneros' 2019 TechConnect Fairs. Microsoft, Dell, Boeing, the Children's Museum, HoustonVR, Timbergrove, and the Houston Public Library will join Council Member Cisneros and her TechConnect Interns at this week's event. District H Back to School Fairs & Giveaways
It's that time again! You can prepare your family for the start of school by attending one of these District H events, which feature backpacks, school supplies, health resources, screenings, and more.

  • Every year, Council Member Cisneros delivers backpacks directly to each District H elementary school based on each individual school's needs. Council Member Cisneros understands that some families are unable to attend the various back to school events and her backpack initiative is unique in guaranteeing that every elementary school child will have a backpack on the first day of school. Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America launched the Be SMART campaign to raise awareness that responsible gun storage can save children’s lives. Arrange a Be SMART volunteer to deliver a 20-minute presentation to your group/organization by visiting this website .
