NEW Mobile Adoption Trailer Unveiling April 4th
Join Council Member Cisneros and BARC as they kick-off the arrival of a brand new Mobile Adoption Trailer Council Member Cisneros has funded. Come check out the trailer at the City Hall Farmers Market on April 4th and learn about BARC and adoptable animals.

Rescheduled: Woodland Heights Public Meeting On Speed Cushions April 24th
The previously scheduled public meeting discussing the recently installed and tested speed cushions in Woodland Heights has been rescheduled by Public Works due to a printing error with mailed materials. The new date is Tuesday, April 24th at 7 to 8 pm. Public Works will hold this meeting to present results, answer questions, and gather resident input. If you have submitted a Voluntary Interest Form to Harris County Flood Control District for interest in a buyout, you do not need to submit another form to the City. The grants have limited funds and these grant funds are typically not available for immediate flood recovery assistance. The programs could take a year or more following a declared disaster. The City has NOT yet received federal funding for hazard mitigation specifically related to Hurricane Harvey.  Click here to fill out the form .

Summer Food Service Program
Deadline to Apply: 3/30/18
The Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) 2018 Summer Food Service Program for youth ages 1 to 18 will operate from June 4 through August 10. Churches, non-profits, apartment complexes, learning centers, and schools are encouraged to apply by the March 30th deadline.
