The City of Houston is partnering with multiple groups to provide home repair assistance to seniors and disabled citizens with homes that have sustained damage as a direct result of Hurricane Harvey. If you know any District H constituents that qualify, please provide our office with the contact's name, phone number, and home address. COMPLETE COMMUNITIES
KICK OFF MEETINGS
The Complete Communities kick-off meetings originally scheduled this month for the Second Ward and the Near Northside have been cancelled , and new dates will be announced for October soon. Sign up for the CC Newsletter for updates from the Planning & Development department regarding Complete Communities.
RECYCLING SUSPENDED
Both recycling and heavy trash pickup have been suspended until further notice.  This is due to a reallocation of resources to cope with debris removal. If you need to dispose of recyclables immediately you may take them to a Neighborhood Depository or the Westpark Recycling Facility.
