Attention District H: FREE Spay/Neuter Opportunity This Saturday
Council Member Cisneros  has partnered with K9 Angels to bring back  The Empty Shelter Project  to the Denver Harbor Multi Service Center this Saturday, June 1, 2019.  When Council Member Cisneros last hosted this free event on 3/2/19, a record- breaking 472 dogs and cats were spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated in one day. Eastex-Jensen: Free Childcare This Summer!

Near Northside: Do You Want Safer Streets?
The Kinder Institute for Urban Research is conducting a walk audit in Near Northside. The results will provide information on the availability and conditions of sidewalks, crossings, and other road elements in the neighborhood to improve safety and encourage walkability to important places. Lace up your running shoes and join this 4-mile all-levels group run with stops at historical sites in the East End. Hosted by Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the Houston Maritime Museum, runners get free admission on 6/1 to the Houston Maritime Museum. More info here.

1119 Commerce St: Community Engagement Meeting

PSR East End Houston is hosting a climate change forum to discuss current efforts by the City of Houston and Harris County to create policies around climate change in the area and what advocacy efforts are needed to see such policies implemented. More info here.
