Council Member Cisneros and the COH encourages Houston residents to participate in the Astros Victory World Series Parade (if they are able) on Friday, November 3rd to celebrate with the city and the team their historic win of the 2017 World Series. The parade will end with a celebration at City Hall. Houston Salutes American Heroes Veteran Day Commemoration
The City of Houston will show support for our Armed Forces on November 11th in a Veterans Day Celebration and 9/11 Heroes Run, which was previously cancelled due to Harvey aftermath. To learn more about the run, registration, and veteran job/resource/health fair,  click here

Critical Bond Passage Vote
Early voting ends tomorrow, November 3rd, at 7 pm.  If you don't get a chance to vote early, make sure you vote on November 7th election on five city bond propositions. Council Member Cisneros urges all registered voters to cast ballots on these important propositions. The City offers a Homebuyer Assistance Program that provides up to $25,000 in financial assistance. If you are a first-time homebuyer with qualified low-to-moderate income, contact the Housing office today by calling 832.394.6200 to begin your application.
