July was a busy month for District H! Councilmember Cisneros hosted TechConnect programs at all 12 community centers in the district, engaging more than 300 youth in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities. Special thanks to all the industry professionals, volunteers, interns, and recreation centers for supporting summer educational growth opportunities for District H youth. | |

METRORapid University Corridor | |
|
Take a virtual tour and see the 3D animated video of what the METRORapid University Corridor will look like as it passes through Second Ward and the Northside. The actual alignment of the route and its various stops are subject to change as the design is finalized. Segments 4 & 5 are located in District H and appear in the video during the time ranges listed below.
- Segment 4 - 5:44-6:15
- Segment 5 - 6:16-7:12
The 23.5 mile line would operate in a dedicated, transit-only lane to move through traffic. The Corridor begins at the Westchase Park & Ride and ends at Tidwell Transit Center.

Deadline to provide feedback on I-10 from Heights Blvd to I-45 | |

TxDOT is proposing a project to elevate the existing main lanes along I-10 from Heights Blvd to I-45, above the White Oak Bayou floodplain. You can view a narrated virtual presentation and more information here.

Redistricting Information | |
The City of Houston's Proposed Redistricting Plan is available to view on the City’s website at www.letstalkhouston.org/redistricting. Revised plans will be presented to City Council sometime in August, and are anticipated to be considered on the Council Agenda on September 14th.
