  HOUSTON FIRE FIGHTERS EXTINGUISH BOX CAR FIRE IN NEAR NORTHSIDE
The cause of the explosion at the end of Chapman Street on Sunday evening has yet to be determined, but Union Pacific is working with the container owner to track its route and determine its origin. Representatives from Union Pacific have been in the area assessing damages and are talking to nearby residents. A claim for damages can be filed by calling (281) 350-7390.

DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR PROJECT UPDATE
The Downtown Connector Project is a 3.6 mile toll road extension that will connect existing Hardy Toll Rd from its current southern end at IH 610 North Loop to US 59 near George R. Brown Convention Center and Elysian St near downtown Houston. Click here for more information on:

ADDITIONAL HEALTHY PETS, HEALTHY STREETS DAY AT MOODY PARK
Council Member Cisneros is sponsoring free spay/neuter surgeries for your pet. There is now an added third date for the Healthy Pets, Healthy Streets initiative for this Friday, April 28th at Moody Park from 6:30 - 7:30 AM.
