Property Tax Proposal
´╗┐Public Hearings - Next One is Monday!
Mayor Turner has proposed increasing the property tax rate in the City of Houston to offset the costs associated with recovery efforts after Harvey. One public hearing has been held, and two more hearings are to be held in the City Council Chamber for concerned citizens to voice their opinions:
  • 6 pm, Monday, October 2, 2017
  • 9 am, Wednesday, October 11, 2017
Need Assistance After Harvey?
Congressman Gene Green invites those in need of assistance after Harvey to attend a FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Event this Monday. Representatives from FEMA and SBA will be in attendance to assist and answer questions.
