Re: Speed Cushions
The City of Houston recently installed and tested the speed cushions in Woodland Heights as part of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP). Public Works is holding a public meeting on the project to present results, answer questions, and gather resident input. You can submit comments at the meeting or online by clicking here.

Daylight Savings PSA:
Neighborhood Depositories & Recycling Centers Change In Hours
Effective Sunday, 3/11/18, the Solid Waste Management Department changed the hours of operation at its 6 Neighborhood Depositories to adjust with Daylight Savings Time. The new hours are Wed-Sun, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Municipal Courts Amnesty Program
To End Soon
The City of Houston Municipal Courts’ 2018 Amnesty Program will end 11:59 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018.  Those with delinquent court matters are encouraged to take advantage of this program to resolve their cases at a discounted rate. Most delinquent traffic and non-traffic citations that were delinquent on or before January 1, 2018 are eligible for Amnesty discounts. Previously adjudicated cases, capias pro fine cases, and parking citations are not eligible for Amnesty. Click here for more info about warrants or citations or call 311.

Resource Providers: Summer Food Service Program
Deadline to Apply: 3/30/18
The Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD) 2018 Summer Food Service Program for youth ages 1 to 18 will operate from June 4 through August 10. Churches, non-profits, apartment complexes, learning centers, and schools are encouraged to apply by the March 30th deadline.
