Rebuilding Together Houston is joining the City's Complete Communities initiative in the Second Ward by repairing homes of qualified homeowners at no cost. Examples of repairs include: damaged roofs, exterior repairs, interior safety upgrades. Learn more here.

The House Committee on Redistricting will meet to hear testimony on the 2021 legislative redistricting process at Texas Southern University on October 23rd at 11:30 am. More info here.

A Citizen Training on Redistricting is being hosted on October 12th by The League of Women Voters, the Houston Area Urban League, and the Texas Civil Rights Project in an effort to mobilize the community for the upcoming public input hearings. More info on on the training and registration here.
Conference for Youth, Planned by Houston's Youth
Link Up Greater Houston brings youth-serving organizations together to provide teens the chance to grow through positive experiences while promoting positive attitudes based on the 40 Developmental Assets.
