District Named to AP Honor Roll
Cedar Falls School District Placed on the College Board's 8th Annual AP® District Honor Roll for Significant Gains in
Student Access and Success

Cedar Falls School District is one of three in Iowa and one of 447 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 8th Annual AP ® District Honor Roll. To be included on the 8th Annual Honor Roll, Cedar Falls School District had to, since 2015, increase the number of students participating in AP while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or highe r. Reaching these goals shows that this district is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are ready for AP. Read more.

A Heartfelt Thanks from the CF Schools Foundation

A Heartfelt Thanks from the CF Schools Foundation

This time of year is one of the Foundation's favorites. We're given the opportunity to reflect on the remarkable difference donor gifts have made to the students in our Cedar Falls Schools. It's our pleasure to announce that almost $100,000 was given to the District this past year through the Foundation.

Our donors made that happen!
As this past year has shown -- by working together, we can make a difference!

It's not too late to give a tax-deductible, year-end gift to ensure continued growth and educational impact in the Cedar Falls Schools -- just visit the  Foundation's website and click donate.

Thank you! Your generous gifts every year help our students every day.

Support Extending the State Penny Sales Tax
Please contact your legislator to give your support to
extending the State Penny Sales Tax !

The one-cent sales tax for school infrastructure is known in law as Secure an Advanced Vision for Education ( SAVE ). This critical funding stream is set to expire in December 2029, creating an abrupt end to millions of dollars of school funding for safe and modern buildings and other school infrastructure such as technology, while shifting the entire burden for school facility funding to property tax payers. In Cedar Falls, the extension would mean the reality of a new high school coming much sooner.
