Important Information from Marina Coast Water District About PG&E Planned Power Shutoff

PG&E has announced a planned power shutoff for some customers across the state from Thursday through Saturday in order to reduce wildfire risks.

While this outage is not expected to affect our customers, we want to assure you that the District is prepared for PG&E power outages.

We have proactively installed permanent generators with automatic switchover at all critical water and sewer facilities. The District has also obtained portable power generators for other facilities and is able to communicate with and monitor its water and sewer facilities remotely at all times. These generators provide power to ensure adequate water storage capacity to meet drinking and firefighting needs.

The District is prepared and your water and wastewater will keep flowing even if your power goes out.
