Double-check your upcoming pay for accuracy
BY NOON TODAY!

Tomorrow,  Friday, August 23, will be the second all-employee pay date of the new school year, this time including 10-month hourly employees who started on or after August 5. Once again, we will be processing a higher number of paychecks this week, so we are taking some proactive steps to ensure everyone's pay is accurate.

Please take a moment to review your pay info in the Employee Portal  and report any errors by 12 p.m. TODAY. To report errors, call 416-5304 or use the  HR contact form.

We have a new & improved WiFi network! Check out these details to stay connected.

Our IT team has upgraded our WiFi network to help keep the District’s info more secure. Plus, they’ve made it a whole lot easier to log in! This fall, the old MCS_WLAN network will be shut off, so log onto the new SCS_WLAN network so you don’t lose access. The same network security provisions apply, such as restrictions on sites hosted outside the U.S., but here's a big plus – you no longer have to keep up with a separate password for WiFi! Just use your Active Directory ID, which is the same username and password as your email. So

It's simple to log in:

  1. Select “SCS_WLAN” from the available networks in your device’s WiFi settings.
  2. Log in with your Active Directory ID.
  3. The first time you log in on a device, you will be asked to trust the certificate. Once you do, you won't be asked again.

*If you’re a Mac user, there is one extra step. After completing the three steps above, you will see another pop-up window asking for a username and password. For this, you will enter the password for your actual device, not your email password. Once you do, you won’t see the popup again.
