Teachers- you may be eligible for a 2019-20 advanced degree stipend.

In preparation for performance-based stipends for advance degrees this school year, the Office of Compensation is requesting your assistance. If you hold a job-related advanced degree and have not received any salary increases or credit from SCS for an advanced degree previously, you could be eligible for an advanced degree stipend. Eligible teachers will receive the stipend for each year they earn a TEM 4 or 5 within the first four years following hire/placement into the new system, or degree receipt (for current teachers holding a BA/BS who will earn a job related advanced degree in the future).

If you have an advanced degree and have not been grandfathered in prior to 2013, please send your transcripts to TeacherTranscripts@scsk12.org by November 20.

*NOTE: The SCS advanced degree stipend is always subject to change based on funding availability. SCS reserves the right to interpret, change and discontinue the stipend at anytime.

Help us spread warmth to students this winter by supporting Operation Warm Hearts!

Can you believe December is just around the corner? Mark your calendar, and start shopping early for our fifth annual Operation Warm Hearts winter clothing drive. We'll be collecting NEW coats, gloves, scarves and other winter gear for the students of SCS on December 3 , which is national Giving Tuesday. We can also do the shopping for you if you choose to make a monetary donation on CashApp to " $SupportSCS” for: "Warm Hearts." Last year, our donations totaled over  $18,000 , including hundreds of coats, hundreds of other winter clothing items and over $6,000 in monetary donations to purchase more items. This year, we’re hoping to support even more students!
