Support Food Ministries—And Apply for Grants

Many churches throughout the Purchase District are providing vital support for families and individuals with food insecurity. Please plan to send donations to Annual Conference with your AC voting members and help us raise money for all food ministries throughout our Conference. For every dollar raised Encore Ministries is offering matching funds!

And, for existing food ministries, be sure and apply by June 30 for grants that will be distributed in late July or early August. Encore Ministry Food Program Grant

Houses of Worship Security: A 360-Degree Approach | June 22

How can a congregation prepare for the unexpected without losing its welcoming spirit? This session equips faith leaders, staff, volunteers, and safety teams to recognize concerning behaviors, distinguish crisis from threat, and plan for prevention, response, and recovery. Drawn from federal guidance, the training also covers anonymous reporting tools and post-incident support across Tennessee and Kentucky.

The goal is to help churches build safer, more prepared, and more resilient worship environments without losing the spirit of hospitality and care at the heart of ministry.
