| | | | | Family Kitchen Awarded ENCORE Food Security Grant | |
Family Kitchen, a long-standing ministry of the Purchase District, has been awarded a McNish Food Security Grant from the ENCORE Ministry Foundation, supporting vital food security efforts in 2026. Family Kitchen has been serving free Saturday meals to anyone in need since 1997 through a rotating partnership of United Methodist and community churches at Holy House of Prayer in Paducah. This grant will help expand the ministry’s capacity to nourish neighbors facing food insecurity and enhance its service to older adults and families in the community. We’re grateful for ENCORE’s support and the continued collaboration that makes this weekly outreach possible.
