The Purchase District is offering an Advanced Lay Servant Course August 15–16, 2025. The course is, Transforming Evangelism, led by B. Andrew Halford is grounded in the teachings of John Wesley, this course explores relational evangelism as a way of sharing faith through connection, hospitality, and community, while also helping churches guide new believers along clear pathways of discipleship. It builds confidence and vision for evangelism, making it approachable and rooted in the Church’s call to make disciples for the transformation of the world. Wespath wants to help the next generation build smart money habits with the Financial Fitness Summer Camp – a series of 6 live, online webinars packed with interactive activities and age-appropriate lessons on money basics. ENCORE Ministry Foundation, in partnership with Discipleship Ministries, has launched a survey to better learn the ministry needs of older adults.
