Project Christmas House is a project of the Purchase District UMC that builds a house every year for families who have lost their home due to natural disasters. We need every church to help and volunteers to attend this mission trip for one or more days.
Christmas drive for “everyday use items” to aid local senior citizens
Golden Cross Senior Ministries is encouraging Murray community groups to collect daily use items needed by local senior citizens living at Wesley at Murray/Wesley Murray Meadow.
In the event of inclement weather, the district office will follow guidelines as announced by the Marshall County School system. However, district staff will be available by cell phone and email provided that the service is in working order.
Holiday Hours
The Purchase District office has announced its 2019 holiday schedule for the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays.
Rural congregations and districts who recognize, cultivate, announce and invite their neighbors to participate in the Kingdom of God are eligible. Apply by January 1, 2020.
Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 is the final date the Memphis Conference Treasurer’s Office will receive payments for credit on 2019 tithing payments from churches.
