Bishop McAlilly advises churches to temporarily suspend worship and other large church gatherings to slow the transmission of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Online Worship Opportunities
Many Memphis Conference churches are offering live streams of their Sunday worship services during the period of public health concern related to Covid-19.

New Episcopal Appointments Announced
Bishop William T. McAlilly of the Nashville Episcopal Area announced today his intention to make the some cabinet appointments effective July 1, 2020 including Purchase District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Rob Martin.

2020 Conf. UMW Spiritual Growth Retreat | Apr. 24-25
Author Jane Rubietta will be the guest speaker at this year's retreat. The theme is Worry Less, Live More.

5th Sunday Rally with Featured Speaker, Shann Moore
Shann Moore of Mayfield FUMC will be the featured speaker at the Graves Cluster 5th Sunday Rally March 29. Shann is a newly published author of a book that will help you read and study scripture, design a flow chart and then journal what God spoke to you.

Calloway Cluster 5th Sunday Rally
The rally will be held Mar. 29 at South Pleasant Grove UMC with a potluck meal beginning at 5PM. The program will begin at 6 with music by Terry and Angela Alton beginning at 6:00PM. Children Activities are planned as well.
Seeking Mass Choir Volunteers
Music Fest is coming soon! If you would like to sing in the Mass Choir contact the Purchase District Office by March 30 or click the link below to sign up.

2020 Lenten Hunger Offering
The 2020 Lenten Hunger Offering will run from Ash Wednesday, Feb. 26 through Easter Sunday, Apr. 12. In 2019 the Purchase District received $5,550 to disburse among local feeding ministries.
