Check out the Moving Comfort bras during Fleet Feet's Diva Night

Finding a great sports bra is like trying to find the perfect pair of jeans. It takes time and effort and several tries before finding the one that fits just right. But it's worth it because a sports bra is the most personal and essential piece of gear for active women. Like running shoes, there are three main categories of support which the experts at Moving Comfort have named: secure, stabilize and control. Favorite styles include Moving Comfort's Serena (seamless)and the new Just Right Racer. We also have options from New Balance including the Fab Framer, Airy Racer and Seamless Genius, as well as Nike's Pro bra. Here are the different categories:

*Secure: These are your traditional "over your head" racer-back bras that provide support via compression - though some now have molded cups for shape and modesty so you don't have to settle for the "uni-boob" look. These classic bras that you grew up wearing are available in fashion colors and move seamlessly with your body.Best for A & C cups with smaller rib cages (28-36 band size). Favorite styles include Moving Comfort's Serena (seamless) and the new Just Right Racer. We also have options from New Balance including the Fab Framer, Airy Racer and Seamless Genius, as well as Nike's Pro bra.

*Stabilize: Offering fantastic shape, adjustability and hook-and-eye closures which provide easy-on/easy-off, these bras offer a high-degree of support without feeling overbearing. These bras support via encapsulation which separates the girls and supports them individually. Best for B-DD cups, with band sizes from 32-44.
The No. 1 sports bra on the market, Moving Comfort's Fiona (above), leads this category followed by its "sister" Jubralee and the Rebound Racer, which looks like a racer-back with cups and a clasp closure. New Balance's Shockingly Unshocking and Discreetly Sassy are favorites.

*Control: These sports bras offer super support via compression and encapsulation for those with zero tolerance for bounce. Oprah's favorite bra, the Enell, is like a vest that locks the girls down tight, while Moving Comfort's Juno (above), CWX and Shock Absorber feature technologies that are more discrete to allow for a flattering and very comfortable fit. Best for C-F cups, with bands ranging from 32-52.

Congrats Local Boston Marathon finishers

Fleet Feet Sports in Huntsville co-owner Dink Taylor with Meb Keflezighi, winner of this year's Boston Marathon

Fleet Feet Huntsville co-owner Dink Taylor ran Boston Marathon this past Monday in 3 hours, 14 minutes, 54 seconds. Here is his race report:

I ran Boston Marathon in 3:14:54, I thought I could be closer to 3 hours but the body just would not go. 76th 26.2 complete. 8th Boston Marathon. Went out at the perfect pace but just never felt good. No problems with the legs, more upper back and shoulders were tense, very odd for me. Of all the marathons I have run I still believe Boston is the hardest. Logistically rough. Had to go through two security check points to get to the start. There is a lot of down hill early, it deceptive. It is crowded from start to finish and that adds stress. Just my thoughts. Thankful to run another. The people of Boston make this the greatest marathon in the world and to them I say thank you.
