We have a little change of plans for tonight's Dive In Movie Night!
Due to the forecasted high winds, we have to cancel tonight's event out of concern for everyone's safety. The inflatable movie screen has a maximum wind limit of 25 mph, and while sustained winds may remain below that limit, wind gusts could exceed 25 mph throughout the evening.
With the screen being set up near the pool, strong wind gusts could cause it to become unstable, creating a safety concern for our residents, staff, and vendors. Additionally, if winds reach the 25 mph limit, our vendor is required to take the screen down immediately. Rather than risk having families arrive, get settled, and begin enjoying the movie only to have the event end unexpectedly, we have decided to follow our vendor's recommendation and reschedule.
But don't worry, the show must go on!
Since the pool will be closed for the season, we're trading our pool floats for blankets and giving our movie night a little makeover! Introducing Cinema Under the Stars at The Lifestyle Center!
New Event Details:
Event: Cinema Under the Stars
Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
Time: 7 PM – 9 PM
Location: The Lifestyle Center
Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite movie snacks, and join us for a fun evening under the stars! We'll provide the popcorn!
We sincerely hope you're able to join us on the new date! Unfortunately, October 30th was the only available date that allowed us to reschedule the event rather than cancel it altogether. We understand that this change may not work for everyone's schedule, and we sincerely apologize to those who are unable to attend.
Registration is now open for those who can join us on October 30th! If you were previously registered but are unable to attend on the new date, please reply to this email, and Megan, our Lifestyle Director, can cancel your registration. If you have already registered and can still attend, you do not need to register again!
We know last-minute changes can be disappointing, especially when you've been looking forward to an event. We truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work with our vendors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We can't wait to see you on October 30th for Cinema Under the Stars!
