Happy Weekend Pirates!

Just want to brag on all of the donors, instructors and chapters who helped make 2022 a success, and its very gratifying to be recognized by the dive industry for sharing our love of diving with others.

The Dive Equipment and Marketing Association (DEMA) is an international non-profit trade association with a mission of bringing businesses together to grow the diving industry worldwide. DEMA members voted for organizations that give back to their communities and society through recreational diving and make these community efforts known to the general public.

Our write up is below and we will be recognized Nov. 2 during the DEMA conference in Orlando, FL. We will also be busy meeting with chapters, instructors, travel locations and more to make 2023 and beyond bigger and better. So chapters if you plan to go please let us know so we can spend some time with you and thank you for your efforts!

Our Board Members do a lot of the heavy lifting to make this happen. We want you to know who they are, and what motivates them to give so much of themselves to our recipients. Bob and Nettie Evans have been with the Dive Pirates since it's beginning, Nettie, one of the official founders, Bob a steady crew member throughout. Love ya Overboard Bob and Nettie the Red!
