The best financial planning starts with a PLAN!
Are you still thinking about buying your dream home in 2019? Below are a few steps to help you get moving in the right direction of becoming a homeowner this year.

  • Boost your credit score - this will help you obtain a lower interest rate. This will allow a lower mortgage payment.
  • Save money for a down payment - a bigger down payment provides a smaller mortgage and lower monthly payments.
  • Please call GSB Mortgage at 817/310-1980 or at gsbmtg.com

Or, maybe you are thinking about selling your current home in 2019...If so, here are a few planning steps to begin the preparation of listing your home for sale:

  • Call GSB Mortgage at 817/310-1980 to discuss comparative market expectations.
  • De-Clutter your storage and living space.
  • Assess your home's condition and make a list of necessary repairs.

All students received sling backpacks, phone ID cases, eye glass cases and hand sanitizers.

Texans Can Academies is a non-profit organization that provides a quality education for students that may have struggled in a more traditional classroom setting.

Scam Alert!
As part of our on-going efforts to promote customer awareness of recent financial fraud activity and scams, we want to advise you of the latest attempts of Mr. Sneaky P. Shenanigans so you can avoid them.
The Case of the Fake Fraud Department Phone Call
This latest scam consists of Mr. Shenanigans calling cardholders pretending to be from their Bank or Credit Union and notifying the cardholder that they have fraud on their bank card. Mr. Shenanigans then proceeds to verify the card number with you, asking for the expiration date and the CVV code of the card.

After that, he will tell the cardholder that they will be receiving a new card in the mail but in order to send you that new card, he asks you to enter your current PIN # into the phone and then to enter a new PIN # into the phone. In this scam, although the cardholder is led to believe that they are receiving a new card in the mail, Mr. Shenanigans now has the card data needed so he can go shopping with your bank card.

Please friends, do not give your full card number, CVV code or PIN to anyone claiming to be from the fraud department. At Bank  of the  West, our Fraud Call Center will NEVER request this information from you, and you should never give this information to anyone unless you feel very certain about the request.

If you are ever feeling uneasy in a phone conversation regarding your accounts or cards issued by Bank of the West, please end the conversation and call us directly at 817/310-1999.
