Diversity, equity and inclusion
Senior Leadership Conference Session
Studies have shown that diverse workplaces lead to increased revenue, happier employees and consumers. This session at next week's Senior Leadership Conference in New Orleans will focus on illustrating the strategies and tools newsrooms can use to meaningfully diversify their organizations in efforts to exceed their readership and revenue goals, retain staff and reflect the communities they serve. This will include: avoiding the pitfalls of checkbox diversity, how to approach structural changes to your newsroom and lessons from the diversity & inclusion pilot survey.

This session will be facilitated by Larry Graham, founder and executive director of The Diversity Pledge Institute, and Gaby Martinez-Stevenson, director of institutional research, The Diversity Pledge Institute.

The Senior Leadership Conference, set for Oct. 16-18 in New Orleans, is the most important meeting of the year for newspaper publishers, owners and leaders.

There are a very limited number of registration spots available for Solutions Partners at the Senior Leadership Conference. Don’t miss your chance to connect with the industry’s most influential executives in New Orleans. Solutions Partner registration is limited to two people per company.

Just a few sponsorship opportunities also are available that include registrations. Contact Patty Slusher for more information about sponsorships: pslusher@newspapers.org.
