ANTI-RACISM INITIATIVE
Anti-racism Town Hall IV: Focus on Health System
Thu., Mar. 25, 12pm - 1:15pm
Please join UCSF Health and campus leaders and your colleagues for the fourth in a series of quarterly town hall meetings focusing on UCSF’s Anti-racism Initiative. This forum will focus on efforts to address racism at UCSF Health. We will discuss the current climate, opportunities, gaps, and health equity and other anti-racism initiatives.

There has been an alarming increase in assaults against the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, and UCSF strongly condemns these attacks. Our commitment to anti-racism in all its forms demands that we stand up and speak out.

The Foundations of DEI training is an important step we're taking together as an institution to cement our commitment to anti-racism, dismantling systems of inequities, and living the full meaning of our Principles of Community and PRIDE Values.

Access the training via the UC Learning Center and complete your training within 90 days of assignment.

National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity’s (NCFDD)
Faculty Success Program
Registration: Mar. 22 – Apr. 16, 2021

In partnership with the Academic Senate, the Committee on Equal Opportunity is sponsoring tuition for four faculty members to participate in the NCFDD Faculty Success Program from May 16 to August 7, 2021. This program aims to help faculty thrive in academia by introducing proven strategies to increase productivity and manage competing demands.


DreamSF Fellowship
Application due: Apr. 14, 2021

The DreamSF Fellowship is a leadership and professional development opportunity for immigrant students and aspiring professionals who seek to be social justice change-makers in the SF Bay Area. Fellows are paired with local immigrant-serving community organizations and gain hands-on experience in direct services, advocacy, and immigration law careers, all while growing a network of mentors.
