The OCKABA Foundation will award two (2) $1,500 stipends to two (2) eligible individuals who are going to take/have taken the 2021 California bar examination (Feb. or July). The stipends will be awarded to law student or recent law school graduates attending or graduated from law schools in Orange County, CA. Deadline to apply June 30, 2021. The APABA Public Interest Fellowship is awarded annually to a law student who demonstrates leadership potential, maturity and responsibility, as well as a commitment to making a contribution to the Asian/Pacific Islander American community. The APABA Public Interest Fellow receives a $5,000 grant to spend at least 8 weeks of his or her summer working at a Los Angeles County nonprofit organization in a unit that serves the APIA community.
