Valhalla 55

The V-55 is a statement boat, setting new standards for center consoles larger than 50 feet in all key areas – design, engineering, construction, accommodations, fishability and performance.

The new V Series flagship is the largest center console on the market with designer Michael Peters’ patented double-stepped running surface, which increases speed and efficiency while providing incredible handling and maneuverability.

Our latest Valhalla was designed and built specifically for Mercury’s innovative V-12 600-hp outboards (4 or 5 engines). The quad power package pushes the V Series flagship to a top speed of 60-plus mph. With five 600s, the V-55 hits 70-plus mph. And the V-55's ride is so smooth, stable and dry – even in rough conditions – its speed is deceptive.

“People have been amazed,” says Viking’s Ryan Higgins, who has conducted more than 30 sea trials with owners. “It may feel like you’re going 35 mph, but you’re actually running well over 50 mph. They don’t believe it until they look at the GPS.”

The V-55 is also the beamiest center console from 50-60 feet and has the most fuel capacity (1,200 gallons), providing maximum deck and interior space and range.

The clean, streamlined helm design balances form and function, stressing visibility, safety and ease of operation.

The Valhalla 55 fully utilizes the experience, expertise and vertical integration of the Viking Yacht Company. The result: a turnkey premium product with custom in-house tuna tower and electronics installations. Our first V-55 features a custom Palm Beach Tower gap tower, new Gemlux carbon fiber outriggers and a 24-inch multi-function display that lifts up and faces the cockpit.

The V-55 not only delivers next-level fishability (twin 65-gallon live wells, rocket launcher, abundance of rod holders and wide-open cockpit), she also provides comfortable seating from bow to stern. The transom seats can be quickly folded up when it’s time to fish and the mezzanine is the perfect place for guests to take in all the action.

Fit-and-finish and attention to detail are second to none, with doors and hatch lids gelcoat-finished on both sides using Light Resin Transfer Molding. The V-55 is equipped with the latest and largest convenience components, such as a Seakeeper 9 for maximum comfort.

Another game changer: a machinery room for mechanical and electrical components (including the 15kW generator, batteries and battery chargers) that offers weather protection and ease of access.

Accommodations below bring yacht-like luxury – akin to a Viking interior – to the V-55, with a galley-dinette (above), private forward stateroom with head and separate shower, and aft berths (below).
