St Anthony Church Triduum 2021 Newsletter
The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be prayed following the 11:15 Mass.
The Second Sunday of Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday. The divine mercy of God is never-ending. The second reading reminds us of this important fact: “Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last, the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever.”
How well do we accept the Resurrection reality in our own lives? Do we understand and embrace the mercy of God? Here’s the good news of Divine Mercy Sunday: we don’t need to be all that good at it! We can be afraid. We can be closed off to love, to life, to new opportunities. We can be unsure of God’s presence and demand assurances. The disciples did all of this and more. God’s mercy showed up anyway.
The 11:15 Mass will continue to be live-streamed for the time being.
Therefore St Anthony Church will broadcast on Facebook LIVE Sundays at 11:15 am.
The video of the Mass will be available on this page of our website after the Mass is complete.
