Diving Into Summer Fun! ☀️

It's officially summer and time to slow down and take it easy... right? For some that may be true, but the Pros are ramping up for a full summer of projects and maintenance! We have a few items on our monthly landscape checklist this month, so make sure to check that out below.

May was full of property clean-ups, mulch installations, spring color, and (finally) pool openings! We also shared some 3D designs we are anxious to get started on.

In the meantime, you’ll see us around town maintaining your neighborhoods and maybe even building someone’s dream oasis in their backyard. We can’t wait for a busy June, so make sure you’re keeping up on our social media for project updates!

A backyard BBQ isn’t quite complete without some tunes to set the tone! Whether you’re going country, classic rock, or alternative, nothing kills the vibe quicker than a dead Bluetooth speaker. *Wah wah*

Let’s face it... outside, it’s a bug’s world and we’re just living in it. At least, that’s how it can feel sometimes! It’s now time to get those bugs under control, especially ones that can be damaging to our plants.

We're mainly concerned with spraying bagworms, as well as treating plants for Japanese beetles. Bagworms look like jagged cocoons hanging from branches. If you don’t notice them at first, you’ll see their damage when your shrubs slowly die bit by bit. Spray them early to ensure the health of your shrubs.

On the other hand, Japanese beetles can be destructive to turf, grass, and plants. Some of them even cause damage from the roots underground. You’ll notice large, irregular holes in plant leaves, which is a telltale sign it’s time to spray.

Last, but certainly not least, a reminder that the cicadas are on their way back. These unwelcome guests seem to steal the show visually and audibly, although there’s nothing really to do about them other than enjoy their harmonies this season.
