"Karen and Celeste are the main cooks in the Special Diet Kitchen within the Union Drive Marketplace dining center. They are the real stars of the SDK and serving our students with severe food allergies and other special dietary needs. Karen and Celeste are in the SDK every day, are extremely detail oriented, and constantly do what is needed to ensure a safe eating environment for the wide array of students we support through the SDK. Celeste and Karen have stepped in to welcome and provide extra support to prospective students who are meeting with the dietitian during lunch at campus visits. Wellness Breaks
Division of Student Affairs staff are encouraged to dedicate 30 minutes each month to focus on their wellbeing. Staff can build this dedicated time into their schedule proactively and is not intended to replace breaks staff already receive nor it is a time to catch up on work. The purpose is for staff to engage in something that will help with their current state of wellbeing. This individualized approach can help staff focus on what's most important to them. Resources and opportunities are available in this CyBox.
