The Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) have recognized juniors Katelyn Dixon, Kenzie Losinski, Emily Silvas, and Devin Singh for their academic achievements as part of its contingent of Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2022.
“It’s impossible to overstate how impressed and proud I am of these four. In addition to serving as first-class ambassadors of Marquette, their academic credentials are simply phenomenal,” principal Casey Martin said.
Beyond her 4.632 cumulative grade-point average, Dixon is on track for 51 dual credits after the spring semester. Losinski projects to pair a cohort-high 59 dual credits following this term with a 4.641 cumulative GPA. Also on her way to 59 dual credits by June, Silvas has earned a 4.46 GPA to date. Singh carries a 4.632 grade-point average and forecasts for 51 dual credits entering his senior year.
Each Indiana high school was invited to nominate up to four students currently in the 11th grade based on academic achievement. Rising Stars of Indiana is recognizing students for the fifth time as a complement to the Indiana Academic All-Stars recognition program for high school seniors, now in its 35th year.
