COVID-19 cases are continuing to rise especially among unvaccinated individuals. Beginning Monday, August 16, New York City will require proof of vaccination for customers and workers participating in "indoor dining, indoor fitness, and indoor entertainment and performances." Inspections and enforcement will begin the week of September 13. It is our understanding that the City will be issuing additional guidance on this mandate soon.

To show proof of vaccination, you can show your paper vaccination card, the Excelsior Pass and Excelsior Pass Plus, or the NYC COVID Safe app (Android | iOS). Anyone 12 years and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine for free. Click here to find a vaccine site near you. Photo credit: The State of New York
