COVID-19 cases are continuing to rise especially among unvaccinated individuals. Beginning Monday, August 16,New York City will require proof of vaccinationfor customers and workers participating in "indoor dining, indoor fitness, and indoor entertainment and performances." Inspections and enforcement will begin the week of September 13. It is our understanding that the City will be issuing additional guidance on this mandate soon.

Beat the Heat This Week
With dangerously high temperatures in the forecast from today through Friday, August 13, NYC Emergency Management and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene advise New Yorkers totake steps to beat the heat. Beginning today, cooling centers are open across the city. To find the nearest location, including hours of operation, call 311 or visit the City’s Cooling Center Finder. The NYC Department of Parks and Recreation will also extend daily pool hours to 8:00pm from Wednesday, August 11 through Friday, August 13.
