Hey guys! Ready to start on the right foot when you’re first up in the morning?
First Up: An Early Start with the Guys -- Fridays, 6:30 AM
How about a gathering for refreshment of body (coffee!) and soul (conversation, the Lord, and life as a guy)? There are no requirements, other than to be of the male persuasion, and to show up early: 6:30 to 7:30 on Fridays, in Patterson (the north end of the building). Come give it a try! See what happens when you put God first up in the day, in partnership with some brothers.
Heart Song This Friday
7 PM
We’ve done it both ways – every week, and once each month.  And the once each month proved more vibrant and effective.  So, that’s where we’ll go.  Each first Friday we’ll gather in Patterson from 7:00 till sometime after 8:00, and lift up songs of praise, following the Spirit’s lead.  That means we’ll gather this Friday, November 1.
Mark it down!
Suggesting Names For Elder Nominees
The Nominating Team will be meeting soon to prepare a list of nominees for consideration as Elders at our congregational meeting early next year. Do you see people in our church who would make good leaders, and whose lives demonstrate the gospel? Please mention them to Judy Roberts, John Harler, or George Greene. It would help, too, if you were to add a note about why you think that person is particularly qualified.

One more note: please do not ask the person if he or she is willing to serve – that is the Nominating Team’s job. Thanks, and let’s be praying for God’s chosen leaders to be called forth!

Live-Streaming Bible Study and Worship

One of our newer ministries is live streaming our worship services and some of our classes. If you’d like to check it out, use this link to our YouTube channel. We’re doing it simply – no fancy sound or cameras. But works to bring you the basics. If you don’t click on during the actual live stream hours, Sundays at 9:30 or 11:00, know that the videos are saved on our YouTube channel page, along with Pastor Keith’s video blogs. Find us at:  http://bit.ly/StGilesYouTube
