Event 1: MAC’s All About Dogs Meeting


  • What:
  • Dogs are in Crisis - and so are their caregivers. National sheltering insights from Kelley Bollen, perspectives from Massachusetts trainers, and the effect of compassion fatigue on everyone.
  • When:
  • Sunday, September 21, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine
  • Agnes Varis Auditorium, 5 Jumbo’s Path, Grafton, MA
  • Fees:
  • $30 for Nonmembers
  • $25 for Members with Code (if you are a member there will be a box with the code at the end of this email)
  • FREE for Org Members with passes - ask your organization if they are a MAC Member!
  • Addtional $15 for boxed vegan/vegetarian lunch if interested

Event 2: AniMatch Body Language & Behavior Observation Training


  • What:
  • More than 1000 animal welfare workers have already taken part in AniMatch trainings - from Boston to the Berkshires. Whether you’re new to the field or highly experienced, these sessions are a great way to learn, connect, and collaborate.

  • Monday, September 22, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Where:
  • Fort Taber Community Center
  • 1000 A South Rodney French Blvd, New Bedford, MA
  • Sponsored by:
  • Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts and New Bedford Animal Control
  • Fees:
  • $10 for Nonmembers

  • FREE for Org Members with passes - ask your organization if they are a MAC Member!
  • Additional $5 for pizza lunch if interested
