“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.”

1 Corinthians 12:26

Greetings!

Greetings from Shepherd Society in Bethlehem.

Beit Sahour is a place of deep faith and history, home to the Shepherds’ Field and generations of Christians who have preserved their traditions and witness. Yet today, economic hardship, limited job opportunities, and uncertainty threaten the future of many families, leading young people to consider leaving.

Preserving Beit Sahour means more than protecting its holy places; it means caring for its people and helping future generations live with dignity and hope.

Watch the video to hear the priests and church leaders of Beit Sahour share why this community matters.

Our ambulance campaign is one practical step toward showing that every life matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and this community is not forgotten.

AMAL for Children

Bringing Hope to Gaza and the West Bank

In Gaza, Shepherd Society continues to support children through AMAL for Children, our psychosocial support program in churches and public schools. Through these activities, children find opportunities to express themselves, connect with others, and receive emotional support amid difficult circumstances.

As for our Amal for Children program in the West Bank, you can read more about our latest activities here.

Please continue to pray for our team.

From the land of the shepherds, thank you for remembering the people behind the holy places.
