New Bible Study Starts Feb. 21
We'll begin a new bible study starting Wednesday, February 21 at 7 p.m. It is based on the book  Shaped by God's Heart, the Passion and Practices of Missional Churches,  by Milfred Minatrea.

Join us at The Factory beginning Feb. 21 through March 28. The book looks at the tools needed to create "a new kind of church and move from merely surviving to thriving." It is based on a two-year field study of 200 churches from a variety of denominations and geographic regions. Minatrea presents the "best practices for re-energizing Christian spirituality in a congregational setting."

He offers tools for assessing a "maintenance" verses "missional" congregation and for determining the actions that will move a church toward becoming a missional community. Minatrea, who lives in Irving, TX, is Director of the Missional Church Center for the Baptist General Convention of Texas.

Women's Fellowship Event in Madison County is April 21
What IF we followed God with perseverance instead of insecurity? At IF: Gathering 2018, we will look at one of Paul's letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He's put us, so we're going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we're doing matters, so IF: Gathering 2018 will be the reminder--it will be the celebration. The work we're doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees. Join us!

IF: Madison County is a women's ministry event that can "gather, equip and unleash women to live out their calling." It will be held on April 21 at the Bethany Christian Church 1920 N. Rangeline Road, Anderson.

Registration is $25 (suggested) and is online >> click here. If you have any questions, contact the Bethany Christian Church at 756-643-5713.
