Fifth Sunday Service Projects July 29
On July 29, we will gather at the church at 10 AM for a short service, then divide into two teams to accomplish two service projects for the community.
  •  Project #1 Pencils:
involves #2 pencils for our youth at the Frankton Jr/Sr High School.
  • We need regular #2 pencils donated (about 800). Then on July 29, we'll take the pencils, cut cards, punch holes in the cards, and tie a note to each pencil. The pencils will be ready to pass out to each student on the first day of class on August 9.
  • Here is what you can bring to church:
    •  #2 pencils, Thin (1/4-in) ribbon, 2 to 3 one-hole paper punchers (just to use that day), and 2 to 3 electric pencil sharpeners (to use that day)
  • Project #2 Jefferson Park: Another group of volunteers will go to the park at 10:30 AM to:
    •  work on the old pavilion, prepare the park for new playground equipment, and move mulch.
    • Bring: shovels, wheel barrow, and we need a power washer with some hoses.
