Two New Homes and One Community
Park and Powell Family Home Dedication
On August 15th, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) welcomed the Park and Powell families to their new Habitat homes during a home dedication celebration in Culver City. Together with the support of the community, the Park and Powell families cut the ribbon on their new homes. 

Thrivent Build 2019 Kick-Off
Building Communities and Family Opportunities
Thrivent Financial in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) kicked off their 18th home construction project in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 17 th on West 93rd Street. Over 20 volunteers from Thrivent Financial and H.O.P.E’s House Christian Ministries of San Fernando Valley, assembled and raised walls on a new Habitat LA home.

Woolsey Fire Survivors
Invitation to Attend Recovery Needs Assessment September 9th-20th 
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is a proud member of the LA Region Long Term Recovery Group, supporting survivors of the Woolsey Fire through their recovery. We encourage everyone impacted by the fire to come to a walk-in center for a recovery needs assessment - it’s a vital part of the recovery process for individuals and the community at large!
