A Word from Rev. Renae
It is an exciting time to be part of King of Peace. We are starting our new Stewardship Program this week called Covenant Keepers. You have an opportunity to make a covenant with God through King of Peace MCC in six areas of your life. The areas of focus are Prayer, Financial Support, Presence, Service, Witness and Spiritual Growth. Our theme this year is “Building a Bridge of Faith”. Each Sunday we will focus on one of the areas and add a plank to our Bridge of Faith as we build together.

We are kicking it off by focusing this Sunday on Prayer. Rev. Ray will share “Three Powerful Principles of Prayer” that will encourage us to take our prayer life to a deeper level. Please be in prayer about making a covenant with God through King of Peace MCC and see what amazing things God does in and through your life!

The Covenant Commitment Cards will be available each Sunday in person, through KOP Matters, and on our website. If you need one mailed to you, please notify the church office and we will be glad to do so. Please return your card by November 21, 2021. To see a preview of our Covenant Commitment Card, click here!

Blessings,
Rev. Renae

Entrance to the church will be through the front doors only.

If you don't feel well, we ask you to please stay home. This includes fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
If you worshipped with us on Sunday, you know we closed our Congregational Prayer time praying together. We invite you to use these words and pray for King of Peace this week:

Holy God, we are so very thankful for all those who make up King of Peace. Help us to appreciate our past and realize you are doing a new thing in our midst. We have accepted your call to journey into unknown territory and continue to place our future in Your hands. Guide us by Your Spirit and prepare us for the next steps. May we be one in love and mission. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
Sissy Larson

For weeks now we have been asking for help around Come Out St. Pete. We found out this week that their activities have changed and that there will be no street festival this Saturday. You can find out more information about the different events they are having this weekend at ComeOutStPete.org.

Come Out St. Pete will, however, be part of Halloween on Central on Sunday, October 31st from 12-5 pm. We are looking for some help setting up, tearing down, and staffing our booth that day. If you are interested in helping, put your name on the sign-up sheets on Sunday or email melanie@churchstpetersburg.org.
Board of Directors and Lay Delegate Applications
At our Congregational Meeting coming up on Sunday, November 21st, we will be electing 3 members to the Board of Directors and 2 Lay Delegates to represent us at MCC's General Conference.
