Program and volunteer update
SecureFutures has been continually working to evolve our programming to meet the needs of students during this unique and challenging time. Currently there are still unanswered questions about how local school systems will be handling the fall semester of instruction. We're poised and ready to adapt to whatever our partner schools and organizations need to ensure that teens continue to have access to quality financial education, tools, and mentorship. We are especially grateful for our volunteers - thank you for your patience as we determine how volunteers will be able to be engaged with our work over the coming months. Next month, we plan to have a comprehensive update about the logistical realities of fall programming, for students, teachers, and educators - stay tuned!
SecureFutures volunteers - if you're looking for another way to give back, BizStarts is launching a new program for low to moderate income entrepreneurs, and is looking for mentors who work in accounting, marketing, operations, or e-commerce to share expertise and support. This is not a SecureFutures program, but we wanted to make our volunteers aware of this opportunity since many of you are in these fields. if you're interested, contact BizSmarts at (414) 973-2334 or psnyder@bizstarts.com. Thanks as always for your dedication to the mission of teen financial empowerment!
