PLAN TO VOTE!

As women united in faith, we must never take for granted the right to vote. Just a couple of generations ago our foremothers fought for their right to vote. The fight for Civil Rights helped secure voting rights for people of color. We encourage voting because we believe that each person and their voice matters. Votes can transform the world. I pray that you will all vote, and I pray for justice and peace!

Wendy Campbell, NTC United Women in Faith President

Every vote counts button

MAKE A PLAN AND VOTE! Step 1 - What's on your ballot?

Texas Faith Votes, a program of Texas Impact, has provided us with the use of BallotReady - a totally nonpartisan, data-driven tool to help you to learn what races are on your ballot, who is running, and make a plan to vote. It can be confusing without all the information. This trustworthy guide displays Information directly from each candidate about the issues making it easy to compare and choose your candidate. You can even print your ballot to take with you. (you can't take your phone!)

Think your vote doesn't matter? Watch Josh in a 2 min. video explain why voting in the Primary next week is so very important!

Vote now through Friday, March 1st, or on Election Day, Tues, March 5th.

RACIAL JUSTICE & MATERNAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Disparities in Maternal Health

Disparities in Maternal Health

Maternal and infant mortality rates in Texas are worse than many other countries! Women of color experience a disproportionately high risk of avoidable deaths. That concerns all of us!

The event was well attended and we had many guests from the community. If you missed it, or want to look at the slides closely, you'll find all the resources on our website now. Available resources include: program recording, speakers' slides, advocacy video, and a list of articles, websites, videos and more. MATERNAL HEALTH RESOURCES
