Hello! How are you doing in the chill and rain on the brink of the holiday season? One more week until the day of thanks, though we are truly thankful to have you as a part of our Playhouse family 365 days year, turkey or no.
Before we go any further, have you had a chance to give to the Portland Playhouse through the Willamette Week Give!Guide ?  If you haven’t, today is a good day to make that happen. Everyone who donates to the Portland Playhouse through the Give!Guide today will be entered to win a round of golf and a two-night stay at a luxury suite at Brasada Ranch

Give as little as $10 and get a slew of gifts , plus be in to win this gorgeous getaway! Plus, your donation will go twice as far with a match from the Raymond Family Foundation.
One of the biggest reasons we love this time of year is our Fall Festival of Shakespeare when we get to see hundreds of Portland area middle and high schoolers strut their Shakespearean stuff across the stage at the Winningstad.

If you want to feel that energy and angst of your teenage years again, with a bit of an Elizabethan bent, purchase thy tickets now. Performances begin tomorrow night at 7pm and continue through to Saturday evening.
It seems like everyone is ready for a chance to feel festive this year and tickets for A Christmas Carol are selling swiftly.

Join Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghostly spirits who visit on Christmas Eve and guide the grumpy miser through a redemptive and transformative journey towards friendship and love. Hopeful, musical, and above all fun; our production has won three awards, including: Best Play, Best Director and Best Ensemble.

Book now to get your preferred performance date and best choice of reserved seating performances at Portland Opera’s Hampton Opera Center.
If you’ve already donated through the Give!Guide, booked your tickets to the Fall Festival and A Christmas Carol, and are looking for something to do TONIGHT, why not check out the super sharp storytelling at BackFencePDX’s Mainstage Event: KNIFE featuring, among others: a woman who is no stranger to Portland stages, or Ashland's for that matter, who won Best Smile in 6th grade, who is beloved by truckers and toddlers alike: Lauren Modica, and writer for Arrested Development, Joey Slamon.
