Your automobile insurance policy should have
Substitute Transportation Coverage. This provides a rental vehicle benefit while your car is inoperable as a result of theft, or a covered accident.
Historically, many clients have had this coverage with a reimbursement limit of $30 per day, to a maximum of $900. This limit is no longer adequate, as both national and regional rental firms no longer offer rental vehicles for $30 per day.
You can increase the rental to $45 per day $1,350 maximum. Higher limits may also be available. Contact our office for details.
