Aramark Dining Services at Pacific University offers students reusable to-go containers and hosts a "mug library" for customers to check-out reusable coffee cups. The campus food service provider also tracks food waste, donates leftover edible food, and composts food scraps.
Riverview Community Bank in Tualatin is very active in the community, donating services and supporting staff members who volunteer on paid work time. The bank has also invested in significant energy efficiency upgrades, and offers reusable K-cups for employee use.
Community Action in Hillsboro has an engaged green team that leads the organization's sustainability efforts. The community assistance nonprofit has excellent water and energy conservation practices, and uses second-hand office furniture throughout its offices.
Bethany Public House is the first restaurant in Washington County to be certified as a Green Business Award winner! Among many other practices, the pub donates excess edible food and supports community schools by hosting fundraising events.
