Explore the historical Körner’s Folly's 22 intriguing rooms with a scavenger hunt, uncovering local history, art, Victorian innovations, and architecture in a playful manner. Follow Bob’s paw prints to interactive baskets, engage in classic lawn games, and experiment with vintage toys. Don't miss the art table for a craft activity! Filmed by Bike is sponsoring this grant for BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) who are emerging filmmakers. No experience required and no location restrictions. The project must have a strong central. Theme of bicycles. The film must be 25 minutes or shorter.

Call for Application: WA Grants for Artists’ Progress (GAP)

Grants for Artists’ Progress (GAP), are unrestricted project-based grants for artists working in all disciplines across Washington State. In 2023, Artist Trust will support artists who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) residing in King County, and artists of all backgrounds residing outside King County. In 2023, Artist Trust will award 65 GAPs.

Call for Application: The Ryan Hudak LGBTQ+ Playwright Award

The Ryan Hudak LGBTQ+ Playwright Award is an annual cash grant awarded to one New York State-based playwright who self-identifies as LGBTQ+. The Award honors the life and work of Ryan Hudak a gay playwright, theater maker, filmmaker, and a valued member of NYFA’s staff. Tragically, Ryan passed away in May 2022 after a long battle with Leukemia at the age of 32. The Award will be open to playwrights who live in New York State, including those who live within the five boroughs of New York City. Applicants will need to be practicing playwrights and be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to their creative practice and career. Applicants will be required to share a statement on how this Award will impact and catalyze their artistic work and practice. Applicants must self-identify as LGBTQ+. Only those who are at least 25 years of age and current New York State residents and have maintained residency for a minimum of twelve months by the application deadline will be considered.
