Do you or your family receive the services you need?
AANE wants to hear from you about needs and services.

Please take a moment to give your feedback on adult autism services in Massachusetts. Adults (18 or older), or caregivers of adults, are welcome to complete this confidential survey. The results of this survey will be used to make recommendations and advocate for improving access to appropriate adult autism services. All results are confidential and will only be reported in an aggregate manner and posted to AANE's website.
AANE has designed this survey to find out:
  • What do you or your family member(s) need?
  • What kinds of services are you or your family member(s) receiving?
  • Have you or your family member(s) applied for services through the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS)?
AANE is especially interested in knowing if you are aware of the Massachusetts Autism Omnibus Act of 2014, and if you or a family member(s) are accessing services because of it. This law enables adults with autism in Massachusetts to receive services for autism regardless of their IQ. Previously, to qualify for services, an IQ of 70 or below was required. Now "newly eligible" adults with autism, regardless of IQ, can qualify for services if they also meet functional impairment criteria.
We really appreciate your time completing this important survey . Thank you!
