Dr. Ron MacCormick receives Clinical Service Excellence Award at 2019 CB Cancer Symposium
"Dr. Ron MacCormick, medical oncologist, educator and researcher, received the Clinical Service Excellence Award. Innovative, caring and hardworking, and passionate about cancer care, Dr. MacCormick is a pioneer in developing cancer services in Nova Scotia."


Dr. Ron MacCormick holds an academic appointment with the Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University.
NSHA Flu Campaign ~ October 17 to November 14
NSHA’s 2019 flu campaign for employees, physicians, learners and volunteers runs from Oct. 17 to Nov. 14 (schedule modified and extended).

The campaign promotes immunizations to help keep our staff and patients healthy and safe during flu season. Proper handwashing is a must to help keep germs away.

Percipio - professional development for Dal staff
​Dal introduces Percipio, the Netflix ™ of Learning

Dal employees have access to a new Intelligent learning platform called Percipio. It replaces Skillsoft that the university has been using since 2013.

Percipio was launched as a result of a change in users' expectations demanding simplicity, ease of content discovery, and an aesthetic more like Netflix, Facebook or Spotify.

Crystal Stadling is retiring on November 29, 2019. She has been a Team Lead with Neurology since December 9, 2009. Crystal has also worked in Cardiology and at the Eye Clinic. In her retirement, Crystal will enjoy time with her husband and family as well as time at her cottage. We thank Crystal for all her contributions to the Department of Medicine and the Division of Neurology.
